Thanks for the Heads Up, Chris. Although I tend to browse in Win7 these days, I still have a Drive running XPPro that holds all my recording software. It is still Chrome and Firefox enabled behind a Kaspersky Total Security AV package. Should any trouble ensue, they will both be removed and it will simply be a "Recording" Drive. Would you think that as the number of XP users dwindled, it becomes less and less attractive to hackers anyway? Ian

It's not all doom & gloom as security updates will still be posted...... I just see it as an "end of life" situation, remember that Microsoft have also withdrawn support for Vista/XP apart from the security updates.
Progress they call it I believe.

All things PC get replaced eventually. Someone should write a program to automatically upgrade files to the current format lol. They used to say that archives transferred to computers would not be readable by newer ones. Don't know if that happened or not.
BTW. Sorry for not contributing much lately, Just had so much to do, and limited energy to do it.
