I was in the Army Cadet Band when i was a kid and we used to perform in carnivals and Tattoos. We had a few routines we performed when playing but nothing anywhere near this. Absolutely Amazing the playing and the routines must have taken hours and hours of training to get right. Thanks for posting this Clive. Pete

Some of you may have seen the photo's of the "grumpy old gits" drinking beer & fighting old wars again. Well once upon a time we had a "marching band" We used to march around at 140 paces per minute, if you don't think that's anything out of the ordinary......give it a go to see what it feels like, then imagine 5 miles like that with a full load of kit. No wonder we're all knackered these days Dick.

I missed the reunion in April this year (would have been the 50th anniversary of me signing up) because of my leg problems so, plenty of time now to get it sorted for next year Dick.
